Statement of Faith

We at the Chinese Church in Christ, Mountain View believe...

The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God are divinely inspired, entirely trustworthy, and the only supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct;

There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;

Our Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh and born of the virgin Mary. He led a sinless human life, died on the cross, arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of Majesty;

The salvation of the lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works and regeneration by the Holy Spirit;

The believer being indwelt by the Holy Spirit is enabled to live a life for the witness and work of our Lord Jesus Christ;

The bodily resurrection of all the dead -- the believer to eternal joy with God and the unbeliever to eternal separation from God; and

The hope of all believers in the personal and visible return of Christ upon His second coming.
