About Chinese
Church in Christ Lawrence Cheng was born and raised in San Diego, California. He is currently pursuing a ministry degree at Western Theological Seminary. Lawrence graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Psychology and earned his M.S. in Counseling Psychology at Cal State Hayward. He worked for 5 years as a school Psychologist in the Ravenswood City School District in East Palo Alto. Upon graduation from college, Lawrence has lived and served in the inner-city neighborhood of East Palo Alto, where he met his wife, Annie. Today they continue to live and minister in East Palo Alto, loving people and sharing the Good News of Christ together. For three years, Lawrence served as the Youth and Outreach minister.
