In the Summer of 2007,
Chinese Church in Christ Mountain View undertook a major expansion
and renovation plan.
In an effort to better meet the
needs of the congregation, staff and community, CCIC plans to add or
update several thousand square feet.
Scheduled for completion at the in
April 2008, this project is the culmination of many years of
prayers, sacrifice and God's blessing.

Partial List of Additions or Changes

Agape multipurpose room (addition). Beautiful,
sunny new meeting room for the English, young adult and youth
ministries. Refreshments center will be located immediately
outside this room.

New office wing (addition). Two offices plus
two additional stations with common resource area for printing
and copying.

Fire safety staircase (addition). Multipurpose
room 201 gains an additional staircase for easy access from the
parking lot. This important safety addition allows more people
to use the room while meeting the latest fire safety codes.

Overflow room (remodel) has been enhanced with
more natural lighting through glass blocks. Audio and video
feeds from services in either the main sanctuary or new Agape
room can be presented in this room.

Prayer/storage rooms (addition) have been
carved out of stairwell areas.

Nursery (remodel) will be refurbished with new
paint and carpeting.
Within a 1-2 block walking distance from the
church, we are also pleased to see a new community park (with
childrens' play area) and new housing.
